Strengths

  • Fourth Wall Attacks enable combos nobody else gets
  • Landing-attack cancels create constant mixups
  • Huge creative ceiling for lab players

Weaknesses

  • Fourth Wall offense literally costs health
  • Steepest learning curve on the roster

Game plan

Deadpool has moves nobody else is allowed to have. Fourth Wall Attacks spend his Healing Gauge, effectively buying combo extensions and mixups with his own health bar, and the gauge builds back by enduring attacks or through Meat Shield. Add a rebounding Faulty Grenade, Headpool Hover, and a cancel directly after landing attacks, and you get the most improvisational kit in the game. Budget the gauge well and he never stops surprising.

Team synergy

The Samurai Outriders' chaos agent: after Loki has scrambled the opponent's reads, Deadpool's mixups become nearly unreactable.

Wade Wilson, the Merc with a Mouth. He knows he is in a fighting game, and he is thrilled about it.

Deadpool brings his chaotic fighting style to Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls as part of the Samurai Outriders team alongside Ghost Rider, Blade, and Loki. He has one of the most unique kits in the game with his Fourth Wall Attacks and Healing Gauge mechanic. He looks like a lot of fun to play, but there is clearly a lot going on with his kit, so expect a learning curve. Let's take a look at Deadpool's command list in Marvel Tokon and how to play him.

Deadpool is one of the most unique characters in the Marvel Tōkon roster. His Fourth Wall Attacks are exclusive to him and cost Healing Gauge to use, adding a resource management layer that no other character has to deal with. There is a lot to learn with Deadpool, but also a lot of potential for creative combos.
