Team
Knights of Doom

Strengths

  • Reformed-limb strikes reach like projectiles
  • Necrosis tendrils extend combos for free damage
  • Shifts between zoning and rushdown mid-round

Weaknesses

  • Full damage requires the Necrosis setup first
  • Two playstyles to learn instead of one

Game plan

Carnage reforms his body into weapons that strike from surprising distance, so his game opens like a strike-based zoner: scythes and skewers that reach across the screen. Landing Parasite Fang inflicts the Necrosis state, and from there every skill hit and Parasite Bomb triggers bonus tendril attacks that extend combos and stack damage. Once Necrosis is running, shift gears into full rushdown and collect.

Team synergy

The Knights of Doom's executioner: Doom and Magneto trap opponents in place, and Carnage makes them regret standing still.

Cletus Kasady bonded with a symbiote spawn crueler than Venom. Carnage does not fight for anything: the fighting is the point.

Carnage brings pure chaos to Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls as part of the Knights of Doom team alongside Doctor Doom, Magneto, and Green Goblin. His kit revolves around his Necrosis state, which triggers additional tendril attacks when hitting opponents afflicted with it. He looks like an aggressive close-range character. Let's take a look at Carnage's command list in Marvel Tokon and how to play him.

Carnage is built around his Necrosis mechanic. Getting opponents into the Necrosis state and then following up with Parasite Bomb or a skill attack triggers additional tendril attacks, which can extend combos and add significant damage. With his Necrosis system and tendril follow-ups, Carnage looks like a character that rewards players who take the time to learn his kit properly.
